Me at Marcia’s Session
When I leave any programme or training, I always seek for a few striking things that I get during the session. In today’s training programme at Gambhir, three important things that came into my minds are something to be shared.
Marcia’s presentation on Graphic Organizers was very impressive. Mary, another trainer friend and expert, was with me in the workshop. I learnt a lot of things and so did the participants though they were a little confused at the beginning of the session. All were excited to use graphic organizers in their classroom. I hope the ideas worked well in their classroom.
Another striking thing is that Marcia sounded rude, I say authoritative, during the session; she did the same even she was with me a week ago at Bidya Sangar School at Godavari. I don’t know why she presented herself, like that; yet she is a very calm person. I guess she is sometimes emotional or she thinks her knowledge is much better than others or she feels Nepalese people need orders. This is the first my friend trainer who is so straight. When I was in the session, all the teachers were talking that she is so strict. Maybe I could be wrong.
The third thing that I often find in the training at Gambhir is good participation. The teachers were good and excited and they were ready to learn things in a positive way. They did a good group work and Marcia was happy with it.
For me it was a great session because I met them after a long time. I liked the session a lot. Hope to hear from Marcia again. Thanks.
